On offer by "Mannion Pastoral" Ex Lake Wallace Stn are 97 mix sex 2023/24 drop Angus and angus cross weaners. Predominantly steers the line is made up of approx 82 strs & 15 hfrs. At assessment weighed 180-387kg to average 270kg after a 24hr curfew. Sired by Larrikin Angus bulls over Angus, Hereford and very small percentage Angus cross cows with some throw back to their crosses with slight excess skin on the neck and a shinier coat. Being the vendors later drop calves they have matured well for their age with the season in the far west and present in store condition. 6-10 months of age calves are on an rising plane of nutrition showing good growth and stretch for age and will develop into a nice line to target feedlot weights or heavier markets given the chance. Although used to running in big mobs in large paddocks these cattle have been well handled showing good temperament and were a pleasure to work in the yards.
