Assessor Comments
Buyers, to be offered for sale account of Calvary Pastoral Co, 33 Yearling Angus Steers. These steers represent the second draft being offered in the sale today. Each steer individually weighed 265+Kg at assessment for a tight weight range of 265Kg to 314Kg Full. Averaging 302Kg at assessment. September/October drop. Genuine cold country cattle, weight gain will not be an issue for these steers. Sired by the Bongongo Angus Bulls and are out of a performance bred cow herd based on Te Mania, Dunoon, Reiland, Hazeldean and Brookfield Park blood. Steers were properly yard weaned in April. They are quiet and good to handle. Medium to large framed cattle that are starting to clean up well from a cold southern tablelands Winter. A great opportunity to secure a deck of vendor bred and very well bred Angus Steers with a tight weight range. Buyers please note vendor is also offering the lead draft of 90 351Kg Steers in the sale.
