Heifers are in fresh healthy condition on a sound feed ration of pellets and playfully bucked around the yard. Moved easily through yards blocked well. Have been handled and used to trucking. Quiet in small force area, small % a little agitated in crush for assessment, in general very good Station bred heifers to work. Stood well in yard for Video.

Fully weaned, worked and backgrounded on a grower pellet ration 5/6 weeks. 100% weighed 191-368 kg avg 286 full. 70% draft in the 260-340 kg range. Note 14 heavier heifers 333-368 Preg tested not Detectable as a guide only. Heifers have done well on the grower ration approx 0.7-1.0 kg per day. Suitable Angus Heifers to put away .

Young Females unlikely to be joined given age when trucked south . Note small number 14 older heavier heifers in the draft preg tested not detectable but not entire draft. Moved south for backgrounding to make room for future weaners.
