Assessor Comments
A line of Vendor Bred Angus Yearling Steers, sired by Texas Angus Bulls. At assessment the Steers weighed from 243-374kg to average 294kg after an overnight wet curfew. The Steers were bred in the Rocky River area and trucked to the Vendors Tenterfield property for weaning in August, and have been running there since. Currently presenting in a store condition the Steers look like they are just starting to move forward after winter and will respond quickly to improved pastures. Some steers were showing rub marks around their neck and tail area possibly due to lice, although not considered detrimental.
