Steers have been regularly handled and flowed well through the assessment process. Generally, they are easy to handle with the odd steer becoming agitated in the race and crush but all calmed once through the draft and back in the mob. It is worth noting that there was a total of 450 steers in the yards at assessment.

Assessor Comments
Another offering of the Erdavale steers. A total of 190 Angus steers being sold in two lots of 95 head as a run out the gate. These steers are in a tight weight range from 351 - 400kg at assessment. Cattle are up to date with all their animal health treatments including a Bovilis MH+IBR in July and are on the do enjoying fantastic conditions at Erdavale. Of the total 190 head offered across the two lots, 148 head have been IMF scanned (42 head were not scanned). 126 head scored 4% or better and 22 head were 2-4%. Steers would suit further backgrounding or could be inducted into the feedlot now. Please not the vendor has another 76 lighter steers offered in the same sale. A great opportunity presents as we enter a promising Spring.
