These heifers were god to handle in the yards and through the race. A bit pushy through the gateways but were easily steadied, heifers followed through the yards and up the race easily. The slightly stirry heifers were from being isolated or made stand to long or being NLIS tagged at assessment.

Assessor Comments
Buyers a neat little lot of heifers to take home & background to feeder weights or to grow out to heavier kill weights. With some heifers also being suitable to retain as future breeders. These heifers have not been classed out of the Mildura herd, normally the breeder quality heifers are retained and the balance grown out to heavier weights but due to the dry conditions being experienced they are being sold off. Vendor willing to administer a shot of prostaglandin to the heifers at no expense for piece of mind at the request of the purchaser. The horned heifers in the mob are young growth horns missed at branding time.
