Steers were good to handle while being assessed. These Steers flowed through yards nicely. There was 5hd out of total assessed (157hd) that did get slightly agitated while being isolated from the mob and did stir up while being weighed and then settled once returned to the bigger mob.

Buyers a very good line up of weaned Vendor bred Hereford and Hereford X Steers. These Steers are exceptionally bred being out of a reputable Cow herd within the Miles/Wandoan district. All Steers tremendous bone, length and depth of body and if given the opportunity with good feed quality these Steers will perform well from previous history. The Vendors presented a sample of last years Steers into the “2024 Wandoan Beef Bonanza Carcase Competition” with last years Steers winning 1st place for individual weight gain, 1st place for highest MSA Index, 2nd place for highest $ value add, 3rd place for pen of 3 aggregate weight gain. Buyers bid with confidence these are an exceptional line of Steers. Please note this line of Steers will be sold and drafted as a run out the gate into 2 even lines consisting with 1 lot of 65hd and another lot of 92hd. Please note same Vendor same sale is offering 100 Angus X Angus Steers and also 65 Angus/Hereford Steers.
