Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Calves haven’t been handled at all in the yards, and some calves were flighty in the race and crush. Once they were let out they were easy to walk around with and handle for movement and photos. Calves liked to stick together in a mob while in the yards but once let out into the paddock they were a lot more relaxed.

Assessor Comments
This is a line of 33 Vendor bred December drop Barwidgee blood steer calves. These calves are currently running in a lot of 60 with their sisters and will be sexed prior to delivery. These calves would be ideal to purchase to put away for the winter months and grow out for the feeder markets. One steer has a tiny flick of white around its pizzle. Please note that there are 13 heifers of the same drop in today’s sale.
