Cattle Handled very well .A small % of heifers were agitated in the Crush . They were easy to handle as a mob in the yards . A few heifers still had a bit of run after weighing ( See Video )

TOPS OF THE DROP - NO HEIFERS RETAINED - HIGH MARBLING UNJOINED HEIFERS . Ave Wt: 281 kg Full (248-339 kg ) at assessment. These heifers are from Team Te Mania Herds Boona & Lakala . Purchased as Ptic Cows in 2022. ( See the Sire Links for these Heifers ) Sires Average 4.9 IMF
Heifers that have had a tough start to life. Heifers are showing good frame & will grow out to make nice line of Matrons. This is the Top half of the Heifer Drop that was to be Retained for Breeding . Heifers that have all the Genetics & Breeding .Unfortunately due to season they must be sold.
Note: Several Heifers with a old Pinkeye scar in 1 eye only . ( 1 animal treated at assessment for weeping eye ). All have vision & it is not detrimental.
A few heifers with some white on the udder & flank area. Note: Approx 10 % of Heifers with some Ring worm around Nose & eyes. Heifers also showing rubbing most likely lice. ( See photos )
Total of 122 hd of Heifers from this Vendor to be sold as a run out the gate .
