Assessor Comments
Buyers, to be offered for sale are 30 Weaned Angus Steers. Majority vendor bred with 13 head (identified with coloured tags) coming off Cows & Calves purchased off the breeder. These Angus steers are the tops of the drop with a tail being removed at assessment. Milwillah, Te Mania, Murdeduke and Jackson Angus blood, these steers are well on the do, weighing 343.1Kg at assessment after a 3 hour curfew, showing impressive weight gains since last weighing. Drenched, Vaccinated and Yard Weaned. Steers were observed to show signs of rubbing at assessment however, vendor has drenched the cattle with Cydectin Pour On on the 18th of July and again on the 14th of August with significant improvement already evident. These steers are well handled and are quiet. A great opportunity to secure a line of well bred steers that are bound to continue to stack on the weight given the opportunity on appropriate spring feed. Buyers please note vendor also has 10 Angus X Angus/Hereford Steers in the sale.
