Steers had come in hot out of the paddock and some where agitated and fast moving. Steers were quick to move about but under competent cattle handling were easy to move through the yards.

Assessor Comments
A very smart line of Coolac Cattle Company vendor bred Angus steers. Late drop steers that are really on the do. The "Cooininee" cattle herd are outstanding commercial cattle using top Rennylea & Te Mania bulls in the top 5% for IMF and top 10% for growth. The steers show good length, depth and type. Real performance cattle that are highly sought after and purchased by Rangers Valley every year. Four steers noticed with small pink eye scar but can see fine out of both eyes. Four steers also noticed with ringworm on heads.
