Steers are well educated through the yards. They were weighed through a weigh box and some steers showed agitation in the confined space. Once steers left confined space they settle back in the mob nicely. Cattle were great to move throughout yards as a mob. Cattle are handled by experienced stockman and dogs and this showed at assessment.

Assessor Comments
Excellent quality line of vendor bred Hazledean blood steers. Presenting in fresh slightly forward condition, these steers are powering along with an ADG of 1.8kg/day based on a 18 day weigh. Steers are performance recorded and are proven performers amongst all previous purchasers including bullock fatteners and feedlotters. They are bred from genuine large frame roomy females and represent the lead group of two runs offered today. This lead group were weighed 476-510kg at assessment. They carry a clean bill of health and currently in peak performance. Please note approx 4 steers with old pink eye scarring of which is not detrimental in anyway. Steers even as a group, grassfed and antibiotic free if required.
