Assessor Comments
85 Green tag composite ewes. Average 71.6kg at assessment. The ewes were born in Jun/July 2019, and all had a lamb in 2022 which was weaned off them in on the 14th of October. They were drenched with a triple active on the 17/9 and received a Glanvac 6in1 annually in June. The ewes were sired by Cashmore Oaklea rams in the top 2% and selected for fertility, growth and WEC. This year they scanned 181% conception to ewes joined which doesn't include triplets. The farm has averaged 167% conception over the past 5 years which includes the dry ewes. There is a couple of lighter ewes in this line, they have the frame though just haven't recovered as quickly as the others, given time and sunshine they will put fat cover on, and will become a very even line of productive ewes.
