Comment on Fat Score 1 Sheep
Fresh fat score 1 goats, typically the fat score 1 goats where the nannies with weaners still on them. Please take note that the goats were bulk weighed. Id estimate that the lead 30 per cent of the nannies would be 35 - 40 kg.

Assessor Comments
PLEASE NOTE GOATS WERE BULK WEIGHED IN A CATTTLE CRUSH APPROXIMATELY 12-17 AT A TIME, AND AN AVERAGE WAS TAKEN FROM EACH CRUSH FULL. The goats were weighed from the front third of the mob, then run through and weighed the back third of the mob to try and get a more even average on weight (generally heavier goats at the front and smaller goats pushed to the back). Here we offer the last of the Thomby breeding goats. Vendor is going out of the goat industry to concentrate on his cattle enterprise. These Goats are mainly Nannies but there are a few undersize Bucks and young Wethers amongst them. Any killable sized Bucks were drafted out, and this is the core breeding herd with the kids and young weaners all together. To make it fair on vendor and purchaser they will be sold c/kg LIVE weight. This eliminates any discrepancies on what's a kid or weaner. The oldest of the nannies would be 4 years old. These nannies where purchased in February 2018 as weaners and the mob has grown from them.

Vendor Comments
This the core breeding herd off Thomby. I'm exiting out of the goat industry to concentrate on my cattle enterprise. Please take into consideration the older nannies would obviously weigh more than they are indicated because of the way we bulk weigh
