Assessor Comments
Buyers, here presents an opportunity to purchase a run of 410 "ROSELEA" Merino wether lambs as a part of the annual turn off. Weight from 24kg - 44kg. These lambs are unshorn and carry a very nice bright, white fleece of wool considering the high rainfall (145 mm ).The vendor is predicting the wool to be 18.7 micron following previous years results. These lambs stand up very well and are ready for any market. The lambs have presented with roughly 10 to 6 months wool 46% at 2 - 2.5 inches of wool on their backs ideal for a restocker to shear and then fatten as these lambs are noted performers, or to be turned out into a paddock to reach their full potential. They were quiet and easy to handle in the yards. The wethers are also carrying a normal wether horn approximately 80% poll and 20% horned. Also have been trail fed while on their mothers with chickpea. Small tail has been removed.
