A good line of well bred 2nd cross Aussie White sucker lambs, well on their way towards being suitable for trade weight markets, in a relatively short amount of time. Lambs are displaying good muscling & carcass shape, & are just reaching the maturity level required to put a lot of weight & condition on quickly, with continued access to quality feed. Bred out of large framed FX ewes, they will perform equally as well when targeting both trade or export markets. This line represents the complete drop & as such there is a considerable weight range between the lightest & heaviest lamb in the mob due to lambing being spread over the entire 6 week joining. However, this does provide some benefit in allowing for an insight into just how well the younger lambs will continue to grow. 2 lambs were noticed with small scur/horns. An ideal mob to fatten the wether portion & retain the ewes as future breeders for a foundation into the lucrative Aussie White market, at a fraction of the outlay.

Healthy, well nourished, pink skins. Light Clover burr on lower points, extending up the sides. Though no Bathurst burr was observed in lambs sampled, paddock does have a history of it being present.

Unshorn sucker skins, with Aussie White hair traits throughout the wool. Some lambs exhibiting bareness around bellies & top of neck, though do not appear to be full shedders. Odd lamb with minor stain around breech.

Out of big FX ewes, by renowned RED TANK Australian White rams. Lambs possess the breeding to mature into export weights, given the opportunity.

Improved Lucerne Pasture.

Purchased to generate some income, by utilising abundant feed from another good rainfall year. Ewe portion would make attractive foundation breeders for an Aussie White breeding program.
