Assessor Comments
Presenting another run of the Markey 1st cross lambs as mixed sexes. The breakup is almost 57% wethers and 43% ewe lambs of sample assessed. They assesed as mostly 2 score and really on the do. Noticed 3 wether lambs with small horns in the mob. They averaged 38 kg after 3 hrs in yards at assessment. They are well bred, clean in the skin and have had a small tail removed. These lambs have the frame and capacity to reach export weights given a normal feed plain. It was quite noticeable the progress these lambs have made in the last fortnight. Ideal to feed on or split and use ewe portion for fat lamb operation.
