Assessor Comments
A quality line of mixed sex, 2nd cross lambs by the Ashburnia White Suffolk rams out of Composite ewes. These lambs are the second cut of the Derrymore lambs, with a 10% tail removed, which are averaging 31kg and ranging in weight from 24 - 38kg at assessment. The lambs were drenched and vaccinated at weaning and are now growing well, ready to be taken home, shorn and grown into trade lambs in the new year.
The top line of these lambs are also available in this sale.
Buyers please note, 10 lambs were noticed to have suffered a small degree of Photosensitisation, with slight scaring on head and ears.
Also, some grass seed was observed in the wool of the lambs, none was found to be piercing the skin.
