Assessor Comments
A good line of well bred, young FX wether lambs well on their way towards being suitable for trade weight markets, in a relatively short amount of time, or retain a bit longer & grow out to realise their export weight potential. Lambs are just reaching the maturity level required to put a lot of weight & condition on quickly, given continued access to quality feed, & even more so, should they be shorn in the near future. Bred out of large framed Merino ewes and sired by Stud Dunnield & Lynwood rams, they maintain the breeding potential to attain export weights with suitable feed & time. This line represents the top draft of wether lambs in the complete drop of 550 suckers. 211 of the top draft of ewe lambs & a combined mixed-sex lighter draft of 120 lambs are also on offer this sale. A great opportunity to utilise extended green feed brought about by the exceptional Spring. Annual sale of the vendors July/Aug drop FX sucker lambs, that have performed well for buyers in previous years.

Skin Comment
Healthy, well nourished, pink skins. Light Clover burr on lower points, extending up the sides. Though no Bathurst burr was observed in lambs sampled, property does have a history of it being present.
Wool Comment
Unshorn sucker skins, starting to grow out in the wool. Some lambs present with minor rubbing on the sides, presumably from burr/seed irritation, as they have recently been plunge dipped with EXTINOSAD . Odd lamb with minor stain around breech.
