Assessor Comments
On offer is a good line of Merino mixed sex lambs, May/June 2021 drop. Lambs are progeny of ewes which were purchased SIL, and are sired by South Australian blood Poll Merino rams. They are plain bodied lambs which would be ideal to shear and grow out, with the potential to retain the ewe lambs. PLEASE NOTE: lambs have been running with PD x Merino lambs and were drafted on type at assessment. While all efforts were made to draft lambs as accurately as possible, there may be some crossbred lambs in the mob which have thrown back to the Merino type. Also note the odd lamb carrying fresh stain/dags and also the odd lamb with dry dags. Also noted approx. 3 long tail ewe lambs, any ram lambs removed. Noted the odd lamb with some dermo/water stain on the shoulder from the wet weather. Vendor also has a line of Poll Dorset x Merino lambs on offer in the same sale.
