Assessor Comments
415 store lambs between 30-42kg to av 35.7kg at assessment. They were dropped in Aug/Sep 23 & weaned on 15/12 and given a EweGuard and their second 6SB12 vaccination. All lambs have been OJD vacc and were shorn on the 20/1 and have been running on summer crop since whilst getting barley 3 times per week. Eddington has been using Boonerah genetics for the past 7 years, heavily selecting for fertility, growth and structure. They have used some Wairere Romneys for the past 3 years, potentially half of these lambs have been sired by a Romney through them but visually its very hard to pick. All dirty lambs will be crutched prior to delivery. They will need shearing again to get them through to 24/25kg carcass weights.
