Assessor Comments
250 head Yarram Park blood composite shorn mixed sex mature winter drop lambs. With all of the hard work and expense of shearing behind them these lambs are prefect to finish for the kill. They present in forward condition and will continue to bound away given quality feed. In recent years these lambs have been finished on hard feed but due to sufficient numbers they are being offered to the market. Of sample assessed they ranged from 32-49kg to average 40kg after a big 24 plus hour curfew and 2-3 score in condition. Late winter drop lambs having been recently neatly shorn making them ideal to trade into what is shaping up to be a promising winter market with large numbers of lambs already processed. A quality line of composite lambs with their foot on the till. Vendor is offering another line of feeder lambs (Sept/Nov drop) in today’s sale also.
