WERE WEANED OVER SEVERAL DAYS FROM 29-31st OCT. GIVEN BEACHPORT GREEN CAP.

THE TOPS OF THE ASTON STATION WETHER LAMBS. J/A 2021 DROP & FROM A BILL WALKER CLASSED FLOCK. THESE LAMBS ARE RENOWNED FOR THEIR QUALITY WOOL, ALONG WITH THEIR GROWTH & SHAPE. THE MAJORITY OF THESE LAMBS ARE FROM THEIR OWN EWES, BUT THERE IS A PERCENTAGE FROM BOUGHT IN EWES. THEY ARE BY PLAIN EARLY MATURING RAMS THAT GROW LONG STAPLED STYLISH WOOLS. THESE WETHERS HAVE HAD ALL THEIR TREATMENTS AT MARKING & WEANING. THE CLIK WAS PUT ON AT MARKING IN SEPTEMBER TO THE TAIL & PIZZLE AREAS. SO THERE IS STILL SOME FLY PROTECTION PROVIDED. NOTE THERE IS APPROX 2% WITH WET DAGS FROM GETTING A GREEN PICK ON THE WAY TO THE YARDS. DUE TO THE WALK IN & THE HOT WEATHER SOME LAMBS HAVE LOST A LITTLE FAT COVER BUT STILL PRESENT VERY WELL. DID HAVE AN INSPECTION OF SEED IN THE WOOL & THERE WAS ONLY LIGHT SEED & IT SEEMS TO HAVE SAT ON THE SKIN. RECOMMEND SHEARING THEM TO ENSURE THEY ARE CLEAN. NOTE THE SECONDS IN THE SAME SALE TO MAKE UP A ONE MARK LINE OF OVER 1,500 WETHER LAMBS.
