THE TOPS OF THE RENOWN BONO STATION WHITE SUFFOLK/MERINO LAMBS. THESE LAMBS ARE BY THE LEAHCIM WHITE SUFFOLKS & HAVE DONE REALLY WELL IN PAST PAST FOR PREVIOUS PURCHASERS. THEY WERE MARKED THE FIRST WEEK OF SEPTEMBER & GIVEN A WEANERGUARD ALONG WITH CLIK EXTRA TO ENSURE NO FLYSTRIKE TO THE TAIL OR BREACH. THEY ARE ALSO FITTED WITH EID TAGS SO THAT IS A SAVING FOR ANY VIC PURCHASERS. OFF SAMPLE WEIGHED/ASSESSED WE DID NOTICE APPROX 3% WITH LIGHT SCAB ON MOUTH POSSIBLY FROM THE COPPER BURR OFF THE GROUND. ALSO AROUND 3% WITH LIGHT DRY DAGS. THEY DID A SAMPLE KILL OF A COUPLE OF THE BIGGER LAMBS & THERE WAS NO SEED IN THEM. THERE IS SPEARGRASS IN THE WOOL ON THE BELLIES & LEGS. IT DOES SEEM TO BE TOO SOFT TO PENETRATE THIS YEAR THUS SITTING ON THE SKIN. ALSO BATHURST BURR DOES GROW ON THE PROPERTY BUT THERE WASN'T ANY EVIDENT ON LAMBS. THESE LAMBS HAVE GONE BACK WITH THEIR MOTHERS IN THE SAME PADDOCK SO THEY SHOULDN'T MISS A BEAT UNTIL DELIVERY.
