WEANED OFF EWES WITH BEACHPORT GREEN CAP & WALKED TO THE YARDS WITH WETHER LAMBS.

A RARE FIND WITH THESE WESTERN BRED SAMM EWE LAMBS. BASED ON 20 YEARS OF GENETICS FROM LAWRAL PARK. BOORUNGIE HAS DEVELOPED A FAST GROWING, LARGE FRAMED SHEEP WITH HIGH FERTILITY. THESE YOUNG EWE LAMBS ARE A COMPLETE DROP WITH A SMALL TAIL REMOVED. NOTE THAT THERE 3 UNMARKED EWE LAMBS IN HERE THAT HAVE NOT BEEN MLSD/TS BUT THEY WERE LARGER QUALITY ANIMALS SO LEFT THEM IN THE LINE. DUE TO BEING WEANED RECENTLY THE ODD LAMB MAY LOSE A FAT SCORE & ALSO THE ODD ONE MAU GET DIRTY FROM CHASING A GREEN PICK AFTER THE RAIN. THERE WAS APPROX 3% DIRTY ON THE BREACH OF THE SAMPLE WEIGHED. AT MARKING THEY DID HAVE CLIK ON THEM BUT THE VENDOR HAS DECIDED TO PUT EXTINOSAD ON THE BREACH & BACK OF THESE EWES TO PREVENT FLYSTRIKE OVER THE NEXT FEW WEEKS DUE TO THE WET/HUMID WEATHER FOR BUYERS CONFIDENCE. NOTE THE WETHER LAMBS IN THE SAME SALE TO HELP WITH FREIGHT.
