Humewood is offering 6 decks of wether lambs - tops of the drop. Bluebush and Bluebush cross blood wether lambs straight from the renowned Hay district. These wether lambs have had a great start as is evident by their weight and shape for age. A 15% tail was drafted out of this line prior to assessment. At assessment lambs weighed 30-47kg to average 37kg after a delivery adjustment. Plain bodied easy doing Bluebush sires were mated to 70% Bluebush bld ewes with the balance being Westwood bld - WA (purchased as commercial ewes ex Westwood stud - large framed SRS types). 60% of these lambs were cross weaned at assessment into a fresh holding paddock with the balance having mothers in the mob. The lead of this draft are killable now and will top up to heavier weights quickly given spring is upon us. Suited to a kill trade or even to run on as wool cutters. Typically purchased by repeat buyers with raving reviews. A swift delivery is preferred due to forecasted wet weather. Quality wethers
