The McEwen Family take pride in their breeding and, in the lambs, they produce on offer for you. They have been using the Chrome Genetics for 10 years now, and they’re extremely happy with the ewes they have bred over the 10 years. The McEwen family are particularly impressed with the high lambing percentage and high weaning weights while being easy lambers and only require a low level of husbandry throughout the year. These lambs are in very strong forward condition and at 53.5kg av are joinable weights giving you the opportunity to join now or later down the track. Since weaning, they have been on improved pastures of clovers and grasses and have done extremely well. All Ewe Lambs have been shorn had a B-12 Drench and back lined for your convenience you can buy with confidence and peace of mind. We’ve been using chrome genetics on our farm for about 10 years now. Over that time we have built up a fantastic self replacing maternal flock. When we buy our chrome rams we select on fertility, number of lambs weaned and weaning weight.
