Well grown good quality May shorn wether lambs by Terrick & Poll Boonoke rams from a large scale self replacing wool growing flock these sheep show good style and quality wool. Assessed 24 hours after the muster due to rain - these were shedded , so the assessed sample were dry however the photos are of the balance outside after 15mm of rain and cold wether. I woulkd expect the sheep to quickly regain any short term negative impact from the rain, given these have been assessed under adverse conditions. There are also another 750 the same earmark, drop and description to be assessed next week at another neighbouring set of yards - prevented due to the rain. 42% carry late cut marginal heavy wether horn - cut close to the head in my view heavy horn not staggy, 45% show some mild late symptoms of scabby mouth and likely having grazed areas with prickly burr and salines yet it appears to be clearing well. The very odd wether still with a purse to drop & 2 undershot (in the assessed sample)
