Assessor Comments
230 New season lambs. These lambs are by the top quality CLERMONT WHITE SUFFOLKS out of large framed Western bred Merino ewes. Very good quality lambs that are healthy and strong. Feedlot or crop they should continue to grow into very good lambs for the trade or heavy markets. Some lambs are showing sign of scabby mouth and an odd tail and purse is yet to drop off. Lambs would benefit from shearing and have moderate amount of Clover burr and the odd Bathurst and Noogoora Burr. 2 ewe lambs noted to have long tail at assessment and rings put on. 1 lamb recovering from a break in the wool.(See photo). No attempt to count Wethers or Ewes when assessing but would assume 50/50 (no guarantee).
