Weaned from mum back onto normal grazing conditions they came from.
Assessor Comments
A quality line of Wether lambs that have done very well with the good Winter/Spring season, have bone & frame to grow onto finish, fatten for export/domestic trade or for wool growers. Estimate that they would cut 3.5 kgs wool at present to work out the assessment. Ewes were purchased as restocker breeders and are all classed breeders from Katanning & Narrogin areas back in March 2021, Purchased despasted to Merino & Poll Merino Rams. Prior to assessment drafted a 5% tail. There is 6 to 8 that had a bit of dry fly on the Poll, but now dried up. in the assessment there is 1 wether with a black eye & 1 other with a black ear. Of the 118 assessed there were 17 head with normal wether horn and balance all Poll. As were purchased as Poll Genetics.
Please not that there is only Thursday 4th & Friday 5th for trucking. If wet trucking will be delayed.
