Assessor Comments
Buyers, to be offered for sale are 160 Poll Dorset X Merino New Season Lambs. These March/April drop lambs are weaned and are ready to stack on fat cover. Sired by Mt Bathurst Poll Dorset Rams and out of medium to large framed, plain bodied, Kerin Poll Merino Ewes. These lambs are the tops of the drop with a tail removed at assessment. Averaging 44.5Kg after a big lock up, these well bred lambs will power ahead into trade and export weights over the spring and summer period, given the opportunity on good productive feed. Good lambs to go on with. Majority of these lambs are crutched, balance will be crutched prior to delivery. A great proposition to take home, shear, feed on grain or crop to hit Christmas and New Year lamb markets.
