Assessor Comments
This lot presents the opportunity to purchase a line of mixed sex 1st X Border Leister/White Suffolk lambs that are the tops of the drop ( First Draft). Of the lambs that were handled 57% were ewe lambs & 43% wethers. Noted at assessment that there is the odd lamb with weeping eye believed to be cause by hay at weaning. Breed content was visually assessed at assessment on breed characteristics. These lambs would be ideal to grow out to heavy trade weights or to retain the ewe portion as future breeders. Potential buyers can buy with confidence
