Assessor Comments
A top quality line of 1st cross White Suffolk x Merino mixed sex lambs. These lambs are out of large framed Hazeldean blood ewes, by the selected White Suffolk rams, approximately 10% of the lambs in this lot look to be by a Border Leicester ram. Although these lambs are still running with their mothers, most look to have weaned themselves, with the udders of the ewes drying up. Despite this, these lambs are in good condition and still going forward. They are ready to be taken home, shorn, and grown out. Buyers please note, lambs were market crutched after the photos were taken, and due to a slight mishap 20 to 30 will be uncrutched at delivery.
