Assessor Comments
Offering 778 Merino Wether Lambs. The lambs averaged 19.2kg live at assessment, two days after they were initially weaned. The lambs are mainly April May drop with about 100 earlier lambs throughout the mob that were born in February. These lambs are bred from Barcaldine Downs bloodline ewes and sired by Haddon Rig Merino rams. The lambs show good wool grower characteristics with well-nourished bright wool types on productive skins. These lambs would suit as future wool growers or if put on the right feed could grow out into potential kill lambs. Please note the sisters of these lambs are also for sale in the same auction.
