Assessor Comments
A well bred line of the top draft of Merino wether lambs, August/September 2024 drop, bred out of the Woodside blood merino ewes by the Multi Purpose Merino Rams. A 2nd draft of mixed sexes will be offered in the same sale. The lambs have had all the hard work done being weaned a month ago, jetted with Coopers blowfly and lice and introduced to grain feeders. 1 lamb was shorn in December and 4 Ram lambs marked at assessment. They would normally be retained shorn and fattened into trade or export markets, but being offered early due to a change in farming enterprises. A great opportunity exists to purchase these lambs to shear and fatten into trade or export markets.
