Assessor Comments
Entire drop of 1st X Ewe lambs, Averaged 27kg, present in fresh condition. Flock is transitioning from a prime first x ewe flock to a self replacing composite x flock, lambing over a 7 week period June July and then offering these lambs at a younger age. These lambs would have been retained as prime lamb mothers and joined as ewe lambs in March with around a conception rate of 60%, but due to change are surplus to requirements. Lambs have been weaned at assessment day onto good feed allocated to the weaning. Have allowed for weight loss in the assessment, Lambs are offered un-crutched but any heavily solid lambs will be tidied up. These lambs have had the Gudair vaccination but the ear tags don't have the "V" branded in them 3 other lots from same vendor in sale
