Assessor Comments
Top draft of 250 Barooka Wether lambs 12 -14 months weighing an average of 40.8 kg Curfew LW. Majority of the lambs are September drop 2021, from the spring lambing mob. Approx. 20 lambs were mouthed and 2 x lambs were cutting their teeth, estimated Approx. 15% of the mob would be starting to cut their teeth. The lambs are well grown and will be ideal to grow out as Wool Grower Wethers or fatten as a hogget for the trade. The lambs will be crutched prior to delivery. Traits from the "Glendemar "Multi Purpose Merino blood lines are long bright stylish wool, bare breach selection (minimal crutching) and the rams have been selected for high index growth, eye muscle and fat to produce high quality carcass and high fertility traits. Barooka shear every 6 months cutting approx. 70mm staples of wool. The sheep are good to go into bio security areas as the flock is a closed flock only purchasing stud rams onto the property.
