Assessor Comments
A draft of genuine late drop, vendor bred lambs. Strong terminal sire influence being Cashmore Terminal (PD) and Composite (Texel influence), lambs are Sept/Oct drop, January shorn, 6-in-1 vaccinated ready to take on to finish into late winter markets. Presenting in mainly store to forward store condition (odd lamb prime), minimum weight at assessment was 28.5kg with 90% of lambs in the range of 28.5kg to 46.5kg curfewed and averaging 36.4kg. Noted two lambs with black points (can be removed at buyer request). These lambs would normally be retained and finished by the breeder, but due to flock expansion and requirement for property development are offered to market earlier than anticipated. Opportunity to acquire late drop, breeder's lambs ideal to take well into winter to high value winter kills.
