Assessor Comments
On offer is a great run of the Dawes Family 1st X wether lambs. This neat line of 510 March/April 2024 drop wethers are a perfect feeder lamb to take on and grow out for the trade or export market. The Dawes family have been breeding 1st X lambs for over 50 years and have been sourcing their Merino ewes from the Hay district each year. They have also been purchasing top Quality Border Leicester rams from Dunnield and Glamis studs. These wethers present with plenty of frame and length and could be a quick turn around given the correct conditions. Approximately 10% of lambs with weepy eyes from grazing vetch, is deemed non detrimental and is drying up since shearing. Buy with confidence.
