A VERY GOOD QUALITY LINE OF 2ND CROSS LAMBS. THESE LAMBS ARE BY THE HILLCROFT FARMS ULTRAWHITE SIRES THAT HAVE BEEN CAREFULLY SELECTED FOR GROWTH, FAT AND EYE MUSCLE, AS WELL AS SHEDDING ABILITY. THEY ARE OUT OF THE VERY GOOD QUALITY NEW ARMATREE 1ST CROSS EWES WHICH ARE LARGE FRAMED, PRODUCTIVE EWES THAT HAVE SERVED THE KNIGHT FAMILY VERY WELL OVER A NUMBER OF YEARS.
THESE LAMBS ARE THE 2ND CUT OF 3000 WETHER LAMBS BEING OFFERED. ALL LAMBS HAVE BEEN INDIVIDUALLY WEIGHED. THERE ARE 1834 LAMBS IN THIS DRAFT, WITH A WEIGHT RANGE OF 22 - 34KG TO AVG 28.9KG WITH AN 18 - 24HR CURFEW. THEY HAVE HAD AN AVERAGED DAILY WEIGHT GAIN OF 180G SINCE LAMB MARKING AND LOOK TO BE DOING WELL SINCE WEANING. THEY WERE DRENCHED AND HAD THEIR 2ND 6 IN 1 VACCINATION ON THE DAY OF ASSESSMENT.
