Assessor Comments
An Exceptional line of Merino wether lambs Mulsed, Unshorn and Crutched which represent the full drop bred by the vendor with a 30% tail removed. Stanford Wether lambs have over 50 years of Westray breeding behind them which has given them a great reputation for growing into large frames with a heavy wool cut and a mature Body weight. These Lambs give the intended purchaser numerous avenues to go down as they have the gentics behind them to grow into either trade, heavy or even extra heavy weights which always command high prices through the yards. These Wether lambs were crutched and drenched @ Assessment which means they will hit the ground running given the correct nutrition. Note Approximately 50% of lambs assessed showed wether horn or scurr. There is a total of 1000 Wether lambs which will be sold in two separate lots as a lot of 600 & a lot of 400, run out the gate scenario. Photos taken of half of lambs. OPPORTUNITY to purchase Genetics that have the reputation of performing.
