Offering 650 tightly weighted Poll Dorset x & Composite lambs. Lambs are fit and healthy, in principally store condition and are showing stretch. Lambs are recently shorn, are up to date with animal health treatments and have been well weaned. These lambs were weighed into this group the morning of assessment (assessment was conducted 9 hours off feed). These lambs have been introduced to grain, receiving 3kg/head/week of faba beans & barley. The Goodwood lambs are sired by high indexing Cashmore Oaklea rams out of Mount Ronan ewes and have been proven performers on farm and for previous purchasers. With the hard work done and the breeding and capacity to finish to heavy trade and export weights these lambs are the ideal article to take on to the feedlot, stubbles or green feed (vendor offers 1160 lambs over two drafts in this sale).
