Assessor Comments
720 VGQ Mixed Sex White Suffolk/Merino Lambs. Majority have Good Length, Depth & Frame for their age considering seasonal conditions. They are April/May 2024 Drop Lambs consisting of approx 48% Wether & 52% Ewe Lambs. A 4% tail under 12.5 kg were removed at assessment however there are still a handful of rougher looking Lambs amongst them. There were 150 Lambs assessed, with the remainder of them recorded through the combi clamp. I missed recording 7 head. They have plenty of compensatory weight gain & are ideal to grow out for the Lamb Trade with plenty of time on their side. The Ewe portion are suitable to retain for long term Breeders with no pick taken out of them. They were weaned 2 days prior to assessment & will be paddocked until delivery with access to lick, oaten hay & cottonseed. They have had 2 vaccinations of Glanvac 6 in 1 & will need treating for lice. Refer to above traits for minor faults. *Assessor has no financial interest in this mob but is related to the vendor.*
