Assessor Comments
Boolarra offers 635 representing the seconds of this draft with a tail removed. Every lamb went over the scales and weighed above 20 kg at assessment. These lambs haven’t been offered to the market at this stage before as they are normally finished on farm to heavy trade weight lambs. They are only being sold now as seasonal conditions dictate. These lambs have been grain imprinted on their mothers 7 times by the time they go to auction with a lamb finisher pellet. They are mainly sired by high growth Dorset rams and are out of either a border/merino ewe or a cloven hills blood composite. They are fresh, healthy young lambs that will continue to bound away and grow into high end domestic or export lambs if given the opportunity. Please note the vendor has other lots in today’s sale totalling 1768 head. There is 4 head that have some photosensitivity with their wool coming out these can be removed if wanted by the purchaser.
