On offer is a very well bred line of 222 predominantly W/S X lambs with a sprinkle of Suffolk X through them. The work has been done with these lambs. They are impeccably shorn, have had absolutely no set backs and are showing great weight for age only being Sep/Oct drop. They weighed 33-56kgs LW, whilst having a bit of a spread in the weights they still present relatively even and any lighter weights or “undesirable types” were pulled out over the scales.
This article is on the do and beginning to shape up well. They really are ideal to take on and feed, to top up to killable weights and I believe would be a quick turnover if done properly.
Vendor selects rams from Wanden White Suffolks in the top end of the sale and purchases their replacement ewes direct from the same good breeder each year.
