A good line of very well bred, weaned FX Border Leicester ewe suckers. These lambs are bred out of very good quality, large framed, Wanganella blood Merino ewes, exhibiting excellent body length & stretch, by top quality Dunnield & Lynwood Border Leicester rams. Lambs have been running on improved Lucerne pasture with the ewe portion since being weaned in July & are demonstrating good weight for age gains, with no developmental set backs whatsoever.They present an opportunity for a relatively short term turnaround intoSpring trade markets, or alternatively, lambs possess the breeding potential to attain . With favourable feed and management, these young ewes should attain export weights given extra time & quality feed. Odd lamb presents with green stain on breech & tail from grazing on fresh crop. Complete drop of FX B/L Wether lambs with 13% tail drafted out. 470 FX B/L ewe portion also offered this sale, as well as 166 mixed sex tail (comprised of 102 ewes & 64 wethers).
