Assessor Comments
A good line of merino hogget ewes being offered as part of the breeder's annual sell off. The ewes cut 3.5kg after 9 months of wool growth, these ewes could suit a six monthly shearing program. The ewes are August/ September 2021 drop, December 2022 shorn, Hilltop & Glenwood blood. The Gundawanna flock has been rigorously classed over a number of years by Adam Mort. This has been a non mulsing flock for nine years. The ewes are improving in condition, grazing on improved pastures. The wool on these ewes is bright and white. Approximately 3% are showing signs of slight discolouration over the shoulders and body area due to the extremely wet conditions. A small tail has been removed. The ewes have a yellow NLIS tag with a V, indicating Gudair vaccination.
