*4.5yo 1st x Ewes SIL - 103 Singles & 151 Multiples*
254 x 1st X Border Leicester/Merino X 4.5yo Ewes SIL to Poll Dorset Rams. 508 ewes in the line selling 2 runs of 254 (even amount of Singles and Multiples in each line). These ewes were acquired on 'Ramillies', a property Bells Purchased late last year. The rams were put out on the 10th of November for a tight 5 weeks. These ewes have shown to be extremely fertile and have bred good quality 2nd X lambs each year of their lives. they present in Medium/Large frame and strong forward store to prime condition. The ewes were assessed straight after scanning having been off food and water for 20 hours.
We purchased the ewes under the knowledge of all ewes originally purchased ex the Naracoorte 1st X Blue ribbon sale and local 1st X producers.
