Assessor Comments
1200 3.5 yo Orange tag Merino Ewes with 7 months of wool. They will be split into 3 lines and sold as 2 x 450 and 1x 300. Purchased as 1.5 yo ewes ex Moolpa, Hay, Goolgumbla blood. They are part of a complete dispersal of all the Merino sheep on the property. These sheep are renowned for being heavy wool cutters of very bright white wool in the medium micron range. They are very fertile, in excellent condition and come with an instant rebate on their backs. They were all treated with Exsinosad on the 28/9, no live lice could be found however there is evidence of rubbing. There were no lame ewes however there were sheep with long toes. There wool wasn't open and free growing however was very dense with approximately 65mm average. Given the range of body weights the ewes are up and down a bit however the light ewes have plenty of frame to grow into.

Ewes are carrying 7 month Merino fleece. Crutched and Wigged. Some of the ewes are showing signs of the lice rubbing from September, refer to the video.

Very dense fleece of wool, a couple of ewes had some rain damage. Some dermo in about 5% of the sheep which has lifted off the skin.
