Assessor Comments
Buyers a small lot of ewes & lambs that would suit a restocker to grow out the lambs and do a fatten and split job with. Whilst there are not many of them, southern buyers need to be aware these are located only 500 meters off the Cunningham H'way (Warwick/Goondiwindi road) & there are ample opportunities for a backload with major southern truck companies that return home empty from Darling Downs feedlots and processing plants almost daily. These ewes present in mainly store condition with a few in forward store condition. They all have a lamb and obviously 7 have twins and they are doing a very good job on their lambs except for 1 that could be a twin that is a little bit drier than the balance. All lambs have been marked, tail docked and vaccinated so all the hard work has been done. The lambs are off to a flying start averaging 21kgs and would provide a nice quick return for any buyer. Also noted 5 ewes with long tails in the lot. The ewes all look to still have good sound udders.
